About the TIGS AWARD Community
What is the TIGS AWARD Community?
This community, created for winners of the TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT AWARD in April 2026, aims to maximize the impact of the future activities taken by award winners.
Various opportunities are given to the creators in this community.
-
Opportunities for Networking
It is an environment where creators get to communicate with each other and strive together to develop the best games they can. For example, they share know-how online via Discord or Gather, and meet up offline at playtest events.
-
Opportunities for Learning
Seminars are also held to share important and useful information for indie game development.
-
Opportunities for Improvement
Even if the developer is not in Japan, they can gain feedback from established game creators.
-
Opportunities for Promotion
Community members are given opportunities to promote their games by exhibiting in booths at game industry events or by leveraging social media.
